Staffordshire County Council chooses JMW Solar Solution

Staffordshire County Council working in partnership with JMW installed a fully solar powered bus shelter at its Redhill Business Park location.

The site which went live at Xmas 2017 has worked flawlessly throughout the winter months providing customers with a real time bus information via an electronic information screen, free USB charging points and dynamic solar lighting.

This has been achieved by developing a suite of innovative low power products which work with JMWs latest version of Inforoute software.

JMW’s Chris Ryan said “This has been a fantastic project to work on and showcases Staffordshire County Councils forward thinking and vision for the future of passenger transport shelters across the authority”.

Southampton City Council chooses JMW

JMW recently secured a new long term contract to provide the city with a suite products from its new Inforoute system.

JMW Inforoute is an innovative new MaaS software solution which will provide scheduled and real time bus predictions with additional rail information to information displays across the city, enabling both residents and visitors to quickly and efficiently make best use of the cities excellent public transport facilities.

JMW’s Chris Ryan said “We are pleased to continue our relationship with Southampton City Council and look forward to working with such a forward thinking authority”.
